Here they are again with a whole new collection! Did you noticed how fast are they rolling in with their new collections? The Nicki Minaj collection was just a few weeks ago!

Amazing colours! It's got a total of 12 colours with 5 cremes and 7 shimmers! Colours are inspired by beautiful dutch tulips and names are inspired from everything Dutch: wooden shoes, windmills, city names and funnily enough, Gouda cheese!

CNY 2012

First of all, Happy Chinese New Year everybody! It's the 3rd day of CNY and I'm back in my old dorm :( I'm pretty sure everyone enjoyed their days off from school and work. For the past few days, nothing much was up except for house visitings and eating! Good Lord, you have no idea how much stuffs I've put in my mouth for these few days, so gonna stop eating now!

I got this gorgeous cheongsam from Miri, the boyfriend got it for me! I bought it two days before CNY, yes I'm very the last minute! The lotus/lilies on my dress are hand drawn I think, it doesn't look like it's printed.

Didn't do much on the makeup department, I don't wanna scare people off with too much colours! Just my usual Kate brown eyeliner, Victoria Secrets white eyeshadow and Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara and I'm good to go. No lipsticks for me, I think I look major weird in them!

My aunt's signature Siew Mai (dumpling) is a must on our breakfast table every year on CNY first day

Definitely not gonna miss this out, acar (spicy pickled cucumbers) on prawn crackers! Right before CNY even started, I was already craving for it. It's the bombdiggydibomb!

Went over to the Loo's for a visit and RTB came! They asked me to just talk and I went blank. I just said 'Hi, I would like to wish everyone a very happy chinese new year. Gong xi fatt chai and Xin Nian Kuai Le.' LOL!! My chinese at the very end sounded so off and I think whoever that see this clip of mine will think I'm a English speaking Chinese bimbo. hahahah

As I am typing this, the fire crackers and fireworks are roaring like crazy outside! I just love the night before Chinese New Year, everyone come together for reunion dinners. Oh dear, happy/fat tummies!

Pork leg with buns, steamed chicken, fried spring rolls, fried prawns, mixed vegetables with limpets and fish maw soup. Simply the bomb!

I only had one meal today and that's dinner just now. Trying not to eat too much so I won't have a bulging tummy when I wear my body hugging cheongsam tomorrow.

And not forgetting to mention,

My guinea pigs at home gave birth to two baby piggies. They're like the most adorable thing ever! Little furballs make squeeky and purrrr noises whenever you play or tickle them

I did this French tip myself, planned to go to the nail salon but nah, I guess I just saved another $20. Opportunity cost, $20 is my average weekly spending in Bandar!

A few more hours to go, I'm pretty sure everyone's looking forward to the midnight fireworks! I'd rather catch up on my beauty sleep lol. Happy Chinese New Year everyone! xxxxx

The collection of colours are over the top and loud just like Nicki Minaj herself. I'm tempted to get a few bottles of it myself.

CNY shopping

School's pretty okay recently but I think I'm still in the very lazy mood to attend lectures. I totally miss holidays right now! Though I didn't do much during December, but I quite enjoyed spending time like that doing nothing besides travelling.

But this is pretty much where I spend my holidays, the gym! I am totally missing spinning classes, I think I am actually addicted to it! Love the adrenaline rush that you get from all the spinning and cycling.

My aim was to actually get toned up for Chinese New Year afterall! Speaking of CNY, I haven't gotten any new clothes yet! I actually went down to Miri for CNY shopping yesterday, but sadly I didn't get any nice cheongsams or dresses

But got these rose studs from Princess Club for RM3.90 each! I love love love floral studs and I think they add a touch of elegance and femininity to your overall outfit.

Had morning breakfast in this new place called 老杨私房菜 (Lao Yang's). RM3.50 for a basket of dimsum which is quite affordable I can say

I recommend this 咸蛋猪肉丸 (Salted egg in pork balls)

The Sasa store in Miri was opened and you can imagine how excited I was! But sadly I didn't get to buy anything (on a budget!) but only a mask. The boyfriend got this feet mask and also a Ralph Lauren perfume.

I also saw this at The Balm shelves in there. I was so tempted to get this but changed my mind not to 'cause I still have several eyeshadows palette at home left untouched! I also saw a few nice blusher colours and I think I'll get them on my next visit.

I'll add a few photos to summarize up the past few weeks:

Had dinner at Chempaka with the NVP gang since Ritchie is leaving for England. I love the salted egg chicken and pork with mantous! Yummmzzzz

Then hopped over to Mochi in Airport Mall for some froyo! Here's my favourite original yoghurt with oreo bits and honeydew mochi. Mad love! I can have a several ten cups without feeling guilty since it's yoghurt? Fat free? hehe

CNY is just a week away so there's a definite need for those crazy food intake! My food craving during CNY are so bad all the time especially acar (spicy pickled cucumbers) on fried prawn crackers. Total heaven!

So for the sake of a flatter tummy to fit into nice dresses, this is what I ate for the past few weeks. I think I can have this everyday without a problem! It's actually quite nice and very filling. Just remember to substitute or cut down your mayo with low fat yoghurt, that's how I do it!

New years resolution

Hey everybody! Guess I'm not that late for a new years resolution post right? I am 9 days away! But that doesn't matter right? haha

1. Study my ass off

I know I've said this for a thousand times but I end up procrastinating all the time! But modules are getting more difficult and I have approximately 2.5 years to go! I definitely would wanna score better and also improve public speaking/presentation skills!

2. Be healthy and eat healthy

I think I can do this though. Eating fruits and greens everyday shouldn't be a problem for me! Exercise at least 3 times a week and get toned up for CNY!

3. Budget and spend less

I don't think my savings account is gonna take it any longer if I spend like tap water! Gonna stop buying unnecessary stuffs especially shoes! Yes, you heard me, no more shoes! I'm studying financial management this semester, so hopefully I'll learn a thing or two in making wiser decisions.

4. Travel more

I think I'm starting to think that travelling is such a nice thing to do. It's such an eye opening thing to do and also you get to learn new things. I am aware that I am not young anymore so I'm definitely grabbing every opportunity I can to travel places. I've already thought about several places right now like Bangkok, Korea and Hong Kong. I'd also love to travel places outside Asia. Netherlands, Belgium, Paris and Maldives for instance!

5. Trying out more makeup colours!

I've been using almost every really dark colours like navy blue, brown or black. I've never made use of my Coastal Scents palettes. I always think that I can never pull off bright and pastel colours like pastel blue, pink, green or purple. So, I'm gonna watch more makeup gurus videos and give bright colours a shot!

Attend churches and pray more often. Because with God, everything is beautiful!

Awesome vacation to KK!

Hey guys! I'm finally back in Bruland and I'm quite still in the vacation mood. Oh well back to reality! I'm gonna summarize my trip, there's a lot of pictures!

Saw my previous Panaga student at the airport! He's a little bit shy when he saw me hehe

Day 1:

Touched down at KK and the first place we went, Little Italy! You have no idea how much I love this place!

Little Italy's Grilled chicken caesar salad!

Seafood marinara. Simple but it's got all the seafood flavour fused in the pasta!

I didn't know there's a Coach store in Suria Sabah! I should have brought more money 'cause I left the store empty handed lol

I went nuts in Cotton On. Everything is just so cheap in here!

Got these 3 T-shirts for RM50 altogether at Brands Outlet.

Had 肉骨茶 (Bah Kut Teh) at Sin Kee's for supper around 10ish. It was seriously good but sadly I don't eat any intestines or organs so I just ate the meatballs and 'you tiao' (fried doughs)

The boys woke us up in the middle of night because they're hungry so we headed to Burger King at 12ish! How can I not gain weight when I eat like this!

DAY 2:

Had 生肉面 (Sang Nyuk Mian) for early morning breakfast at Lau Yong's. I love the pork soup but the noodles was a bit too heavy for me though.

Then walked to Warisan Square for the free shuttle bus to 1Borneo

What's special about this is that it comes with a liquid liner, you just dip it into your eyeshadows and it instantly can be used as an eyeliner!

I also got to visit the MAC store in 1Borneo and I regret not buying anything, the MAC blot powder! I actually went in the store, hesitating whether or not to buy because I have only RM200 left to spend. But at the end of the trip, I have RM100 left haha. The guy who's the shop assistant was quite friendly, he tested products on me.

Funny story he observed me from head to toe. At first he was like 'Wahhh, I love your headband. It is leopard prints!'. Then he looked down further, 'wahh your bag also leopard lehhh!' And then my Banana peel slippers, 'leopard leh!' 'Eh you leopard prints from head to toe lehhhhh!'

Hahaha funniest conversation ever!

It was NYE that day so we headed to Chocolate Factory and Firefly in Times Sqaure to meet up with the funny people. Long story short, I left early 'cause it was so crowded I can barely move an inch.

Continued NYE celebration back at a bar and lounge just downstairs of our hotel.

OOTD. I know I look all so tourist-y! And we're so vain we have self time on haha. Got that leopard prints sunhat at the Sunday Market for only RM18! What a steal!

Had Ngau Chap at this famous Kota Kinabalu Kopitiam and till this day I'm still craving for more!

We then headed to the Sunday market at Gaya Street and boy, there was a lot of stuffs to see!

Walked to Merdeka Mall and Warisan Sqaure after that.

My greatest purchase of the trip! When I saw it I was like omg this is so Jimmy Choo-ish! Without hesitating and also persuasion from the boyfriend, I bought it without second thought. Ha!

Then walked to Emperor's Delight for our La Mien and Xiao Long Baos craving fix!

1 and 1/2 kilos of Salted egg crab at 田佬爷 (Old Farm Restaurant just next to City Park). This is so orgasmic! I ate a total of 3 legs!

We also ordered several other dishes like fried chicken and vegetables. We only paid RM140 for all the food plus there were 8 of us! How cheap!

Overall, the trip was fun and I ate a lot! I'm definitely hitting the gym, no excuses! I didn't get to buy much stuffs as you can I see, I only bought a pair of shoes this time. My self control is improving!

First of all, Merry Christmas! As you can tell I didn't show up here for the past few days, I was literally drowned in all the festive parties for consecutively 3 days! I also managed to attend church Christmas service on the morning itself, blessed!

I went down to Miri on Boxing Day and this is my greatest purchase of the day!

Maybelline Hyper Diamonds! Been wanting to get this for almost a year but there's always stuffs keeping me away from it. I got it for RM25.90 (Original price RM35.90), I recommend you getting your makeup stash from Boulevard Miri 'cause they're always clearing out stuffs with discounted prices! Also got to swatch on a few Watershine lipsticks, I'll see whether I can find them in KK!

Look at the crazy amount of sparkles! Hands down this is gonna be my favourite party colour!

Nails that Roar and Purrrr

Here's what I've been wearing for the past few days

Yeap I'm pretty much still caught with the leopard prints fever which I doubt will go on in me for the rest of my life. This leopard prints nail is quite easy to do!

All you need are:

A base coat or top coat, a peachy colour, a blue pastel colour and a nail pen. You can actually use your own favourite colours and you don't have to follow mine exactly.

To start off

I've applied two coats of this peachy colours. Don't worry if it's not a perfect application since it's gonna be covered by leopard prints drawings.

Using the blue pastel colour, apply or dot on the peachy colour. Again, it doesn't need to be perfect rounds and circles.

Then you just outline those circles with a black nail pen and add a few small dots and you're done!

Also, my mom got this pink case for me to store away all my nail polishes. How thoughtful of her!

How often do you wear perfumes? For me, I normally wear body mists whenever I attend lectures or just heading out. Only on special occasions like big parties then I'll wear perfumes. I think it's a must that women should smell good all the time.

Here's 5 of my favourite fragrances:

Ralph Lauren. I practically bring this wherever I go in my bag as you can tell from all the faded colours. It's got this sweet musk flavour that's not too empowering. Perfumes that are too strong in flavour gives me a headache.

DKNY Be Delicious. It's got this really light fruity flavour, green apple like.

The Body Shop Body, Room and Linen Spritz. This is pretty much what I wear all the time. It has a light sweet fruity smell with a blend of pomegranate and raspberry! Plus it's quite affordable at the price of BND$17.90.

Boss Intense. Quite a light sweet and floral smell

Here's a few that I would like to get my hands on:

Davidoff Cool Water. I used to own this but it was all used up. I love love love the aqua fragrance of it. I'm tight on my spending budget right now so I wouldn't wanna splurge on this right now. But Christmas present for me anyone? ;)

If you are unaware, Jimmy Choo just came out with their very first fragrances months ago. I'm not sure how does it smell. Their shoe collections are pretty and I assume their fragrances should be too!

Daisy by Marc Jacobs! Not sure how it smells but this bottle of fragrance is sure to keep 'cause the little flowers are just too cute!

Cute right! lol why I no shame say my phone is the cutest. But everyone that saw my phone went 'awwww so cute'. See I'm not exaggerating! It's a silicon case so it's pretty dirt resistant. I bought this from an online seller who literally ripped me off 'cause it costed me BND$17! I saw the exactly same cover in Miri which only costs RM19.90 (=BND$9+)

Also got this pretty little ribbon plugs too! RM6.80 from Dots!

My first time here in Station 1, Bintang Plaza. This is the boyfriend's Yestea. It taste like teh c special except they used green tea to replace the ordinary tea. We went there during lunch time. If we went during dinner, I think we would have ordered some Calsberg. I love icy cold Calsberg!

I was in Miri again yesterday (yes I know, I'm probably in Miri every weekend god knows how many times!) and as usual, a little shopping and good food!

Hauls from The Body Shop. I recommend you to buy from here because they are always having clearance sales! This week, you buy one product you'll get 50% off and the 2nd item you'll get everything 70% off! How nice is that!!

The Body Shop Define & Sparkle that I got for only RM22 (original price RM65!)

Perfect to glam up for parties!

What's interesting is that it also comes in a mascara form!

Can be applied on top of your normal mascara and you're ready to party the night away!

Don't you just love the amount of sparkles in there! Twinkle twinkle little glitters!

Tea tree concealer for only RM10 (Original price is RM35+)

I got in the lightest shade which is 01. Tea tree oil is well known for its healing properties as anti-inflammatory in treating blemishes. So cheers to concealed spots while treating it at the same time!

The Body Shop Nettle Oil Balance Conditioner. Again known for its anti-inflammatory purposes, reduces hair oils! Tried and it gives your locks that healthy glow without stripping your hair's natural oils. Plus, it smells really really good! Let's see how long can my hair start to get all oily again without washing my hair.

I swear to God this will be my very last pair of heels and I will save the rest for a few pairs during my vacation in KK during New Year's Eve!

Fried clam kueh tiaw (RM6.50) and Claypot Rice (RM6) from QQ Miri (Near Hot Cross Buns). The claypot rice was really good! There's chicken and pork to choose from but I reckon you to try their pork claypot! Shaoxin wine is added (I can taste!) that instantly make the whole claypot so fragant!

My family calls me by the name 'KeiKei' or 'KayKay' ever since I was born. It's a Cantonese translation for my last name 'Chee'

#2. What's a weird habit of yours?
I have a lot! Just to name a few (hopefully I don't freak you out after reading this). I use my hair to floss my teeth HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA omg this is so embarrassing! The boyfriend scolds me all the time when I do this.

#3. Do you have any weird phobias?
Sharp corners on tables or cupboards. Not the safest place especially having kids around. They freak me out and I'll start imagining the scary stuffs that'll happen like getting my eyes pierced through them O.O I know, I'm weird.

Public washrooms! I think they are the gross-est place ever! If there's really a need, I'll go to the nearest hotel nearby and use their toilets (way cleaner than public washrooms out there). I think I might have a severe problem of OCD!

SI was in Bandar on Sunday to attend Skin79's first anniversary! Sadly enough I didn't get to buy the new BB cream that was launched during that day with special offers everywhere in store! I was kinda in a rush actually but oh well, I will for sure buy it next time when I visit!

But I managed to get this little 5g of BB cream that's worth $8 for free!

Then after I came back from Bandar, I went down to Miri at night! Lol I know a very hectic life I have but yeah managed to party in Cheerie Berries the night. Then stayed over in Mariott's! Words can't explain how much I love Mariott's, everything is just luxurious and exclusive!

Got to attend once in a lifetime opportunity special address by Mr Wen Jia Bao, the Premiere of the People's Republic of China in UBD.

Lovely Alicia Jane brought us the girls for to the new frozen yoghurt outlet called Blitz. It's located in the new Mabohai shopping complex where you can find Supa Save, Toys R Us and Royce Chocolates inside! This is my strawberry yoghurt with pecan and rockmelon toppings. Costed me a whooping BND$4.50 but yeah I think that's the normal price everywhere.

Hello hello hello! I am over the moon now since my exams are kinda over. Well, my last French paper is on Saturday so yeah, I'm gonna catch up on Vampire Diaries that I've missed for a few months!

I'm now happily on online shopping sites since I get to use my mom's debit card for Paypal! Easy peasey lemon squeezy all my transactions are done in just a few clicks and I don't know whether I should be happy or not since I'm spending quite a lot lately especially on Forever21!

Here's the bag that I'll be getting! Been searching high and low for tote bags like this and I actually found one in Lea Centre the other day, I didn't get it 'cause I think it's absolutely absurd to spend RM450 on a Malaysian manufactured Emilio Valentino bag!

And most of you have noticed, I haven't bought any shoes for almost 2 months 'cause I didn't see any yet that tickles my fancy. The very last pair I bought was from Forever21 and I still couldn't stop staring at how pretty it is!

But went on gojane.com and saw a few pairs which I think is really pretty!

Dance the night away

Last Saturday right after school I headed down to Miri! We first went to The Terminal and then Balcony! Had a few sip of beer and the next thing I know, I'm all over the dance floor! Nothing beats this feeling and I'm looking forward to the next clubbing session already!

With boo boo love! What I'm wearing: Forever 21 dress and a pair of nude heels. No kidding my feet hurts dancing for 5 hours straight in a 5 inch heels! Note to self: wear flats!

My breakfast in Ipoh Town White Coffee (near Suncity). Fettucine carbonara with Italian herbs for RM8.50. The cream sauce was so good but still I prefer Fratini's.

Didn't get to buy anything except this hair mist I got from Guardian.

I love using hair products from Lucido-L! All my hair sprays and hair designing aqua are all from their range. I tend to have really dry hair especially in the ends so this would be perfect for me! Also, it has hyaluronic acid which is super moisturising!

I also got this BB cream from Skin 79 in Bandar few days ago. I heard and seen a lot of people's review about it so I'm gonna give it a try!

A lot of assignments coming up lately which explains why I'm missing in action right here. I went down to Miri (like again) last Sunday, had both my 2020 dimsum and McDonald's fix!

'Hide the Blemish Concealer' from Rimmel! I never know Guardian in Parkson carries this London brand! Their stuffs are so so nice and affordable too! Will definitely check them out more often whenever I head down to Miri.

Here's my shade in Ivory 001. The lightest shade I can find and it is a concealer for blemishes. Lately I've been replacing my normal makeups to BB creams and extra virgins powder, just hope to tackle those nasty blemishes off!

Gold pearl liner from Nature Republic. It gives this really nice subtle shimmer, not too over empowering shimmer that I love!

Nail polish from Nature Republic. Reminds me of O.P.I.'s Planks a Lot from their Pirates of Caribbean collection.

A pair of vintage-like earrings from Black Queen. Love them!

Last but not least, my greatest purchase! Peep toe heels in Tan. Good Lord this is like 6 inches high! They're so perfect that I just couldn't stop staring at them!

Small hauls!

I finally got to spend my birthday vouchers from The Body Shop and The Face Shop. Here's what I got by using the 50% voucher:

The Body Shop new range of Extra Virgin Minerals loose powder. The salesgirl (Gadong branch) was really helpful in assisting me to pick out the right shade for me. So I got the shade in 102 natural ivory, second lightest shade.

Can be applied with a kabuki or powder brush. I am using both my Artistry powder brush and Essence of Beauty powder brush at the moment. Tap off excess powder as less is always more!

The powder was so fine and very easy to blend. My makeup stays on longer now!

The Face Shop THE SKIN Extra BB Cream with SPF20 PA++. This is actually my second tube.

It has this consistency like normal foundations out there. Gives perfect coverage and also blends easily.

I finally tried out my Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara. I actually won this from a giveaway and I'm loving it!

The outcome:

I must be it's pretty amazing in terms of volumising and thickening. My lashes looks like they have falsies on, but nope it's real!

And right now I wanna get my hands onto a few stuffs from Benefit probably from eBay!

They're Real Mascara! I wonder if the boobs are real too themselves lol. I've read a few great reviews of them so as a mascara junkie, I'm so gonna get them!

Chocolate cream chip with hazelnut and caramel toppings. I initially had my Caramel Chocolate and skipped the cream topping (ways to cut down on 100 kcal!) but the boyfriend thought that the his chocolate chip tasted really awful like medicine with hazelnut bits so we exchanged lol

Vacation Plan!

Okay, so now everything's confirmed, flights booked and hotels booked! We're officially heading to Kota Kinabalu in December with the family and of course Kelvin too! The bestie Amelia and the boyfriend Boon Siong will be travelling with us too! This is the second time I've been to KK and this time we'll be celebrating new years eve there!

I'm so so excited now and I've already have my own shopping list (the things you can't get in Brunei or Miri!)!! Shopping is awesome in KK. I love Warisan Square, Center Point, Wisma Merdeka and of course 1Borneo! I'm gonna check Suria Sabah out since the last 2 years when I was there it wasn't fully opened yet.

Here's my shopping lists:

MAC pressed blot powder. Perfect for people with shiny faces like mine! Been trying to get my hands on it by thinking of buying it online, but I'm afraid the colour doesn't match my skintone.

MAC Prep+Prime. Been looking for an eye primer for a while and I'd like to give this a try. My Artistry concealer and NYX eyeshadow base gives this really bad smudge after a long wear.

MAC Studio Sculpt. Seen reviews that it works like magic!

And also not forgetting Sasa, the perfect place to shop for makeup! Tons of places to do shopping! Nine West, Mango, MNG and Charles&Keith! Yes I know there's also a C&K in our Brunei, but different branches have different shoes and designs!

I've been using this for almost a year now and still I'm a loyal Coach user!

I'm pretty much of an organised person but I can get real messy sometimes!

My Evian spray. I love it and it's great for a mid day pick-me-up because it's totally refreshing! I spray it on after makeup 'cause it helps it to set!

Both iPhone charger and portable charger. All iPhone users would understand and know how crazy the apple 'juice' can go down!

My iPod and thumbdrive. When lectures get too boring sometimes, I just pop into my headphones and BAM it's just gonna be me in my own world!

Essential for a person who has oily skin like mine to get rid of grease and shine! Biore makeup remover I bring wherever I go for face cleansing.

Breathmints that comes in really handy after a meal, Renu eyedrops because my contact lenses tends to get really dry very quickly and of course pen which is always handy all the time.

Haven't been up to much stuffs lately but had been spending the raya holidays visiting several houses, which explains the uncontrollable food intake! I need to drag myself to Get Fit Club when I go back to Uni tomorrow.

Headed down to The Body Shop and The Face Shop yesterday to collect my birthday gifts! My birthday is tomorrow and I'm hitting the big 2-O! ! :D

They are major love! The Body Shop even gave me a dinner voucher to dine in at Rizqun!

Not forgetting that the boyfriend and I went down to Miri the other day. Our mission was to search for dogs in pet stores. I have exactly what kind of dogs that I want in mind, which is either a Hush Puppy or a pug! But instead of getting new dogs, we got guinea pigs! Kelvin got us two pairs of guinea pigs! I can't wait for babies to multiply already!

I bought these Essence of Beauty brushes a day ago and I'm totally loving it! The brushes are ultra soft! I was actually considering going for the Sigma brushes but they're so not affordable for me at the moment. Also, I do not actually need that much of brushes since I'm only mediocre when it comes to eye make up. They're in mini sizes and are convenient to be brought everywhere!

Date night

Yesterday, which was Saturday the boyfriend came up to the hostel to pick me up and then we went dating lah of course! Had lunch at Excapade Sushi in Kiulap and then went to catch a movie at The Mall, Gadong.

Okay this stare of Caesar is just creepy! But overall the movie was pretty good! I rate it 9/10? I got a bit teary but the end of the movie haha.

I shopped a while in Charles&Keith and apparently nothing catches my eye eventhough there's some offers going around. I dropped by The Face Shop and went through some new nail polishes and got this! I love this shade of baby pink! Reminds me of unicorns, mermaids, princesses and rainbows! Argh I have a weakness for pretty things and colours like this.

Then at night we headed to Cheezbox for Sungkai buffet with the guys (Ritch, Jeremy C, You Min and Ming Yang). The food was okay though, nothing special I wouldn't recommend you there. Choices were not that much as compared to RBA or Excapade! But you could check it out here at LoveFoodHateWaste

The boys decided to catch a movie again O.O so I just tagged along. Watched Cowboy vs Alien this time. The boyfriend and I regretted that we shouldn't even watch it, I rate it 3/10. I don't get why but aliens are fine for me but cowboys are just weird!

Anyway, I love Daniel Craig in it! Jesus, just look at those piercing blue eyes!

Been watching a lot of series lately to kill time when I'm staying in the hostel. I have pretty much nothing to do since it's only the beginning of the semester and lecturers are just so nice to not give us any assignments yet!

Just got done with Modern Family! I love it! It's the most hilarious TV show ever! I literally laughed my ass off watching it and right now I'm waiting to watch the next season!

And Pretty Little Liars! These girls are just ridiculously hot and stylish. It's like a mini Gossip Girl but I love Emily's and Hannah's looks more compared to Spencer's and Aria's. I'm still halfway watching and still on my way to find out who's this anonymous person A is!

I think I should stop here and continue tomorrow! Hopefully I'm able to update the stuffs that my mom got me from her vacation to KL, Medan and Bali!

Hello, I am back in blogging again! The new semester so far has been pretty good, just that my timetable is a bit screwed up. They are placing a lecture on a Saturday (like again), I prefer to have my Saturday off but oh well, I just have to live with it.

I've been trying to participate in school activities as much as possible, just got signed up as Public Relation Officer in UBDPPC (Table Tennis Club) and hey, do check us out here!

Not forgetting to mention that my O.P.I. shatters finally arrived! And also just this month, The Face Shop too launched their crack collection nail lacquers. I actually visited and checked them out, there's black, gray and brown available. I actually wanna get them but I didn't and they are awfully half the price of O.P.I.!! :(

Got it in black and silver shatter and now I'm waiting for the release of pink shatter next month! Yes you've heard it, PINK!

Can't help it but I must say it's so so so pretty!! The cracks are so nice!

I also just got this Biore makeup remover wipes from Watsons. I first saw it on XiaXue's Guide to Life episode and my verdict? Super!

The amount of makeup being removed in just a few swipes! I now use these wipes and also L'oreal Cleansing Milk. There's no way you can sleep with grimes and bits of makeup on!

Just a little short update before I go back to school! I am right now in my 3rd semester! Time do really pass by way too fast just before you knew it, BAM! 3 months of holiday is officially over! I'm so gonna start taking part in every school activities and try to get my grades up since I've been really slacking in my 1st and 2nd semester.

Just a short post so.... I went down to Miri yesterday for shopping which was a last minute plan! Didn't get to buy much but at least I've got what I want.

Ice Jelly Primer from Nature Republic. Got it in green (green primer tones down red skin, purple corrects dull skin). It has this jelly-like texture (as what its name suggests) and gives a cool refreshing feeling when you blend it on. Moreover, it is very easy to blend!

My everyday skin care regime

A few weeks ago a blog reader of mine asked me what's my usual skin care regime and right now I'm lacking of materials to blog about so yeah here you go!

My skin care regime is basically made up of different brands. I don't usually buy the whole set of skin care altogether (facial wash, toner, moisturiser) but I mix and match different brands of what actually works for my skin. My skin can be described as a combination of oily, sensitive and dry. My T-zone is oily as hell and because of this I've got tons of blackheads, whiteheads and breakouts. The areas on my cheeks can be dry and very sensitive and overall, my skin condition can be described as seasonal? (especially during the time of the month and when I do not have full control over my intake of water and food)

But recently, my breakouts just went out of control. I think it's because of a beauty care that I visited (only to find out there were also similar cases like mine after that). I am so so devastated right now and I could only hope they will be gone ASAP :(

My mom got me this for facial wash and I just started it today. I'll see whether it works in 3 days!

I am now on a holiday officially! Panaga School is having a summer holiday right now so I have a few weeks holiday to spend then school will reopen for me.

Not forgetting to mention that I purchased an iPod shuffle few weeks ago from a colleague of mine who's leaving for good soon. And I got it for only BND$35!

And then just last week my dad won an iPod Nano from his golf tournament. It's so cute that it got this lil tiny touch screen on it. Technology is really improving like nuts!

I went down to Miri yesterday since I'm officially on a holiday after part time work.

Shashaki was having a promotion for eat-all-you-can for only RM9.90 for the first 100 customers. My dad queue and waited for half an hour there and grabbed us seats haha.

Didn't buy much stuffs yesterday, there was literally not much to see and buy. I bought just only a few stuffs like...

Leopard print slippers! It's from the Animal Print range from Banana Peel. Love it!!!

A ribbon sunhat from Princess Club that I got for only RM19.90! Fell in love with it straight away when I saw it.

But what made me the happiest must be this!!! iPad 2!! :D It's not totally mine, but it belongs to the whole family haha

Yeap the post title just says it all! The movie was amazing! Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was the new girl for T3, just in case you didn't know, she's also one of Victoria Secret's Angel! Oh god every inch of this girl is just perfection like a fallen angel. I don't get why people is so pissed about her replacing Megan Fox but I think she did a pretty good job.

Fashion highlight in the movie: Christian Louboutin Pigalle in Black was spotted everywhere on Rosie's feet!

Liquid Eyeliner. I'm loving it because it just stays on forever! It doesn't smudge on my oily eyelids and removal is super easy with just a swipe of make up remover!

Also got this Apricot and Basil Body Bath from the Earth Lovers range. It just smells like heaven! mmmmmm

Not forgetting to mention that I finally got this white shatter from Saroja from Singapore! Been wearing it everyday and right now I'm still patiently waiting for my black and silver shatter from an online seller.

These are the goodies that I won from Dini. I am totally loving it! I use pretty all of them to work everyday! Victoria Secrets Sultry Look Make Up Palette, Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara and Nivea Soft Rose Lip Balm!

Every colours are clearly labelled of which and where to be put on. It also comes lipstick, lipgloss, blush and highlighter. I am totally digging into this blush! It has got a natural looking peachy and coral colour that gives you a very pretty natural glow!

From left to right: Lid, Crease, Outer Corner and Browbone. The colours come out really nice and application is just smooth! It has a long staying power which I remembered I once partied in them till 4am and it still stays on perfectly!

Not forgetting to mention that I went down to Miri the other day to shop. Here's my hauls! :D

Maybelline Hypercurl Volume Express Waterproof Mascara. I was initially looking for the Stiletto Lash Mascara but it was all sold out and then I saw this at the counter on promotion retailing for only RM24 (original price for RM35) so I just grabbed it without thinking twice haha.

Sandals from Vincci at half price off! I figured out that I might just remove the ornaments on it cause it looks very childish haha

New shoes from Summit! Also half the price off. Utterly happy!

I also recently purchased this Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. Not from Miri but I actually got it from an ex colleague of mine from Melbourne and I don't think this mascara can be seen anywhere in our Borneo Island! This mascara is by far voted as The Top Rated Mascara! Now that I have tonnes of mascaras, I'm not sure how am I gonna use all of them! I'll elaborate more on the mascaras I got in the next post! :)

I'm back again! Felt extra great as I can seriously enjoy my holiday right now. I haven't been showing up because of the citizenship exam but it's all over now hell yeah!! So I guess you guys have been missing out a lot from me eh? HAHA

My phone, I literally live my life on it. I cannot survive a day without my phone and I bet this applies to everyone too!

HAHA that's for my case, cos my mother would yell at me when I pick them up (lol typical Asian mothers) and ask me to put it back. Cos you know why? It's $2+ for just a freaking bottle of water. It's expensive for just that bottle of water but hey, Evian is like a celebrity for water! I always wanna get a taste of how 'celebrity' it is, but never get the chance to HAHA.

This was actually taken last July during Hung's farewell. Everyone is drunk and wasted but still fabulous! Had my first time trying on this alcohol where you need to taste the salt before drinking and eat lemon after drinking, I don't know what's the name, tequila? I'm such a bad drinker! Hands down, it's just gonna be my mom. I thank God for having such a great mom for 20 years of my life. I am very close to my mom and we love going shopping together! Like mother like daughter, we're both hardcore shopaholics! But my mom's more towards clothes and I'm more towards shoes. She's the one who I wanna thank for my awesome hair! She's my hair specialist and that's why I always have the perfect mermaid flowy hair! HAHA. Love her to bits and pieces!

1. My name is Jesmine and people always mistaken my name as Jasmine. Ask me why my name is Jes instead of Jas, I don't know. You should ask my dad or mom. And maybe I'm just plain unique and awesome. The one and only Jesmine! ;)

2. I am a hardcore shoeholic and everybody around me knows that. I've been buying and collecting shoes for the past few years and till now, I own up to 35+ pair of high heels. It isn't enough and I'm still gonna buy more till I go bankrupt. My perfect wedding dream shoe(s) would be a pair of Jimmy Choo, or Christian Louboutin or Alexander McQueen!

3. For the past few months, I've been wearing contact lens only on one eye, my left eye. This is because I forgot the degree of my right eye and only remember my left which is 2.50 degrees. And I'm lazy to just get the right one scanned HAHA. I'm weird right?

4. I am currently studying for my degree of Bachelor of Business, majoring in Business Administration. I'm loving it so far and with God's will, I would like to finish my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) either in the country or overseas. I love everything related to Businesses and I could just write theories and essays on them on several pages. Sciences and maths are never my thing!

5. I am currently serving in Panaga International School as a Learning Support Assistant (only during my holidays). I love the fact that I am able to work with children and people of different cultures and colours. It is a great place to meet people all around the world and to be able to share and learn their amazing stories. The way of teaching in our school is greatly distinguishable from any other local traditional school. We are given proper training and guidance on how to educate a child properly via play. And no, I have no intention of becoming a teacher or lecturer in the future. I mean, it's a job I love to do but not for the rest of my life.

6. I change my nail polish colour every 3 to 4 days. This is because I get sick very quickly of the same colour everyday. So people are always commenting on how often I change my nail colours. I love nail colours from Skin Food and of course, OPI!

7. I can say I'm pretty mature and very independent on my own. I work, save and spend my own money on extra (unnecessary) things. Though I'm only 20 and I'm the youngest person in my workplace, and still people say I'm the most mature person ever (eiseh) and I totally agree!

8. I can be the most girly girl you've ever met. I love all beauty related stuffs and I wear skirts all the time except during school or work. I love long mermaid hair, pretty nail polishes, flowy skirts and shoes and bags! Don't you just love being a woman?!

9. I can be either extremely healthy/unhealthy eater. When I'm feeling very healthy, I can eat just yoghurts, salads and fruits all week and month without getting bored. I am always healthy when I'm staying in residential college as I have more control of what I am eating than home. But now that I'm back in my Seria home, I am a huge unhealthy eater which explains the ever increasing waistline! I pig out a lot especially when our Jollibee is new renovated and reopen! I love the thick thick gravy and I love to dip them with my chicken and just pour it all over my rice! Heaven!

10. I have good hair day everyday! Trust me, I've never had any bad hair day. Every morning I wake up and get dressed, all I need to do is just comb my left side parting. Just gotta thank my mom for getting all my must have treatments and stuffs for my tresses!

Artistry Part 2

Just a quick short post to fill up this space. I got my Artistry stuffs yesterday!

Gentle action make up remover for foundation for $30++ I don't remember. I first use it to wash off make up and then use another normal cleanser to wash my face again

Artistry Liquid foundation in Chablis 10. My beautician was being very helpful and she helped me to pick out the right colour for my skin. Got it for $60++ and I'm so in love with it right now. It gives you a matte finish and a bit of nice glow which is not so over empowering. What's nicer is that it provides oil and shine control for over 12 hours!

Artistry Concealer in Light. I can say its quite good in giving coverage especially for undereye areas. Got it for around BND$29.90

Tons of new arrivals in Coach! So should I or should I not?!

And these Victoria Secrets Make Up Kit are so to die for! It still breaks me down to the question again, should I or should I not?!

I ordered some stuffs from Artistry the other day and a few items arrived yay! If you do not know, Artistry is one of the Top 5 beauty brand, others: Estee Lauder, Chanel, Clinique and Lancome. I trust Artistry because of its continuous R&D and testing not on animal but on human especially Asian skin so I can say it's pretty safe!

This teeny weeny bottle already costed me around BND$143+! But for the sake of my skin, it's all worth it! Tried it for the first time and my skin was silky smooth! Like baby soft skin!! It's like a chemical peel but with mushroom enzymes extract that evens out skin tone for clearer skin. I can already feel the difference. Love it!

The make up remover that I got. This is only BND$29.90. Works like magic on me!

I'm still waiting for my cleanser, foundation and concealer to arrive! And I am now considering whether I should get the brush sets from Artistry.

Just a short update, I hate to see how boring and dull it is here. My holidays so far are pretty good! hmmm not actually holidays since I'm working right now but hey it doesn't matter as long as I'm staying away from the books!!

The current love of my life, Jannes (say Yah-ness) :p Ahhh just gotta love this boy! He gives me this bright bright smile whenever he sees me! He is the epitome of cuteness!

My lil Amelie is all grown up lil lady! Love her to bits and pieces!

I went down to Bandar yesterday to catch a movie, Pirates of the Caribbean The Strange Tides. It was pretty awesome I can say although I didn't watch the first few sequels of it. We had our lunch at The Airport Restaurant, lunch buffet! mmmmm yummy in my tummy!

How can I not resist?! Ahhhh I feel like slapping myself for chugging myself with so much food!

I just came back from work and I had a super super day! I just love everyone around me, like a smile on a kid's face would just put a smile on my face back instantly! Ahhhhh just gotta love my kids!

Nothing much up lately, not going out that much, so that means no shopping and no new nice stuffs haha. I would be spending 3 months of holiday just working and also studying for the taklimat thingy so wish me luck! I really need this yellow IC, so that means there's no need to pay for school fees! Not that it's not affordable, just that I wish that money could be spent somewhere else on me like cars or shoes HAHAHHAHA

I don't think I have much more to say but lastly HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHELY!

I used to think why spend so much on nail polishes especially for brands like Sally Hansen and OPI. A bottle of nail polish for over $15 like seriously?! So I settled down with Skin Food or The Face Shop nail polishes which would only cost me under $5 and bring them to nail salons every weekend. But now I no longer need to make a trip down to any salons just to get perfect nails!

trying out on OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender. Love it! I'm pretty clumsy and impatient when it comes to painting my own nails but for OPI, I swear to God it has the smoothest application ever! And it dries super quick!

Saw a Singaporean online seller and was hesitating between these three

I decided I should just get the Katy Perry ones! The colours are pretty hard to find and it's all glitz and glam! It's a mini pack though! Only 3.75ml and the one on the very top is 15ml! Yes I know big difference! I can't wait for them to arrive already!!

And woohoo Silver Shatter!!!

I'm also currently waiting for these gorgeous babies to hit the Brunei/Miri shore! I don't care I'm super broke I'm just gonna get all of them!! Especially the ones with leopard or zebra prints and laces! Gahhh just kill me already!

Got this surprise bouquet from Neptune's Florist while mom's doing what she do best - shopping!

Dimsum feast in Hai Wai Tian (Great Union Restaurant). Love the dumplings!!

I was very productive the other day because I've got myself a pair of new shoes! YAY!

From Charles&Keith! :P Been eye-ing on this pair for quite a while and lucky me I got it for half the price off!

But what was really productive the other day was this! hehehehe

Yeap I finally got it! I know I know the iPhone 5 is coming out soon but whatever I don't care! When I wanna get the i3, people ask me to wait for i4. When I say I wanna get the i4, people ask me to wait for i5. What's wrong kan?!

This is by far the most expensive item I've ever spent on using my own money! Second comes my laptop. Third comes my Coach bag. I feel so proud of myself like paying for my own stuffs not having to nag my parents to get it for me. Or maybe it's the way I am raised by my parents. They give me all the 'needs' like food, shelter, clothing and education. If I want 'wants', then I'll just have to work and save up to get what I want! And no, I never complain about that! I certainly do not like to be spoiled in terms of materials ;)

Mascaras Review

I'm a swear-t0-God hardcore mascara junkie! I own 4 mascaras although I wonder sometimes how the heck I am using them haha

But whatever I just love the instant transformation that mascara do to your eyes!

My very first mascara was this: Maybelline Volum Express Hypercurl Waterproof Mascara

Love that it's totally smudge proof!

My second mascara: Majorlica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamorous Mascara

It sort of gives your lashes those desired thickness and they are very glossy like to make your lashes look fuller. However, the down side of it is that it's super hard to be removed! I've to go through several wipes with cotton even with make up remover on. But overall, it's kinda good :)

My third mascara: Maybelline Magnum Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara. Hands down, this is the best mascara I've ever used!

Love it! See how it sorts of give out that pretty curl?

The previous mascara that I got: Maybelline Hello Kitty Limited Edition Mascara! Grabbed them as soon as they were out and I still yet have to try them out. They're still all new and it's still in its packaging haha. Don't think you'd be able to find them anymore in any stores! YAY me!

Summer!

Hello hello! I am all so relaxed right now but that's just what I shouldn't be doing! My next and very last paper would be on Monday and most of the people in my faculty are already done with their papers! Ah well, just a few days more and I'd be able to enjoy 3 months of summer holiday!! Then I'd be able to work my ass off and pay for my freaking expenses on those wishlists. And I'm still thinking whether I should start on Project 10 Pan or maybe I should not! I still have to get my hands on Sigma Make Me Up Brushes and MAC!

Didn't notice that I have been missing in the blogging atmosphere. I've been terribly busy and all caught up with uni work lately. What's more, exams are in a week's time and I have no idea what can I do with my Business Statistics!! :(

I've decided to major in Business Administration aside from Economics and Accounting&Finance. Like, why not major in something I'm good at? I totally suck when it comes to numbers and figures. I'm honestly am more looking forward to next semester, my modules would be like Business Law and some sort of management stuffs, and that's my kind of 'thing'! YAY! Oh wait, why the hell am I so happy even when my exams haven't started yet?!

Anyway, this morning during Statistics tutorial, I had a makeup girly talk with Shely (lol wait, I don't think its only this morning, we do it every Saturday during our tutorials, which means we never pay attention to what the tutor is saying in class :P). I've also started changing my skin care line. Before this I was using a mixture of skin care from different skin care line lol

I also grabbed this. It's a BB Cream and it's new from ZA. Saw Xiaxue blogging about it and grabbed it right away! It reduces redness, soothes inflammation and stops oil and shine that lasts up to 8 hours! It claims to cover acne scars even in the lightest skin tone. It also contains Brightening Pearl to achieve that fabulous glow and also SPF 30++ to protect you away from the terrible sun! I'm loving it so far and had been using it ever since, my other BB creams are so neglected right now.

Brush Cleaner for my brushes. Love it! I've been using only water to wash my brush for all this while cause I'm afraid I'll ruin the brush hairs if I wash it with facial cleansers and I thought that will be pretty enough for it to be cleaned. But turns out I was wrong, so wrong..

Ewwww! Major ewww! I've used up 3 to 4 tissues for just my foundation and blusher brush. Girls out there, remember to clean your brushes regularly!

My own version of ceaser salad! I can never get sick of eating this everyday. haha if you're thinking whether I'm on a diet, nope you're wrong. I'm just trying to balance everything out. If I have a heavy lunch, I'll have this for dinner and vice versa.

And to top it off, I would have blueberry yoghurt and dark grapes everyday! ;) Talk about healthy indulgence

I am shoe-shopping deprived :( I haven't buy shoes in like a month's time. And right now, I've got my eyes eyed on this! God they're so gorgeous! Been searching high and low and this would be the perfect one! Aldo always have the nicest shoe! But the problem is, I need to find somebody to get me this either from KL or Singapore. Anyone? :) It's because they only accept orders and ship to USA and Canada. There's nothing I see on eBay :( god this pair is so to die for!
